For coming out in 2007, it seems like Halo 3, wasn't just ahead of it's time...it created its own time.
From the launch, it had:
-fully fleshed out campaign
-high quality multiplayer, with games up to 8v8
-forge
-community with custom games
-couch and lan parties
-amazing weapons and vehicles (minus needler nerf)
-fast, fluid, and fun gameplay
Why and how did Bungie get it so right...yet games today get it so wrong?
